Financing & Insurance

For your convenience, Permian Basin Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center accepts cash or check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept third-party financing through CareCredit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients. Therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless prior arrangements have been made.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees related to your treatment, and it is our pleasure to assist you in maximizing your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. On the day of your treatment, we will ask for payment of your initial responsibility, and we will file the insurance claim for you. Please understand that your initial financial responsibility is only an estimate based on the information available to us at that time.

Your insurance benefits depend solely on what you or your employer purchased from the insurance company, and benefits typically range from 25–80% of covered charges. Insurance policies assist the patient and are not a substitute for payment. As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your primary insurance for you. Insurance coverage varies between dental and medical, and we will file the claim accordingly. The financial obligation for your care is between you and our office. Please remember that our relationship is with you, not your insurance carrier. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks. When the insurance payment is received, we will reconcile your account. Any remaining balance is your final responsibility and will be due by the date noted on your statement. Any credit will be refunded to you. If for any reason we have not received payment from your insurance carrier within 60 days of the filing date of your claim, the balance is then due and payable by you.

If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 432-333-6585 for our Odessa office or 432-620-0800 for our Midland office. Many times, a simple telephone call will clarify any questions.
