Full-Arch Dental Restoration

The full-arch dental restoration is an innovative tooth replacement procedure that is available to patients who need a full arch of teeth restored. This streamlined procedure offers a quicker recovery time at a fraction of the cost of other replacement options. In this treatment, four specialized implants are surgically placed in the patient’s upper or lower jaw. Once the procedure is complete, an entire arch of beautiful white teeth is attached to the implants.

Why choose the full-arch dental restoration?

If you have lost most of your teeth, it can be difficult to find a cost-effective replacement option that restores both function and aesthetics to your mouth. Options such as removable dentures or numerous implants are not only costly but can involve a lengthy procedure and healing process. Luckily, with the doctors here at Permian Basin Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center, you have an alternative option — full-arch dental restoration.

In most cases, the entire surgical procedure can be completed in one visit. This is very desirable for surgeons and patients alike because it decreases the amount of post-surgical discomfort, bruising, and swelling that many patients experience with other replacement options. In addition, this procedure is much less expensive and time-consuming than replacing an entire arch of teeth with individual implants. Patients are able to solve both their functional and aesthetic problems in this one restoration.

There are several benefits to full-arch dental restoration, including:

Increased Functionality. Full-arch dental restoration anchors implants at an angle, ensuring that the replacement teeth are secure and supported. The highest ratio of implant-to-bone contact is achieved.

Increased Flexibility. Patients may be able to start enjoying the benefits of their new arch of teeth right away. After the implants are placed into the jaw, you will receive a temporary set of dentures to use while your permanent dentures are made. This technique avoids the delay that accompanies many other surgical procedures used to replace teeth.

Improved Clinical Results. Unlike other procedures, full-arch dental restoration uses cutting edge technology, imaging, and materials to allow for the most predictable result possible.

Are you a candidate for full-arch dental restoration?

If you are on the verge of losing an entire upper or lower arch of teeth, wear a prosthesis (such as dentures), or have lost almost all of your teeth, you may be a candidate for full-arch dental restoration. Many patients who are not suitable for traditional replacement options, such as a fixed bridge, are still able to be candidates for this unique treatment. If you think you may be a candidate for this procedure or want to learn more information about it, we encourage you to call our office and schedule an initial consultation.

Pro Arch Technique

Our teeth are critical in maintaining proper esthetics and function of our mouth, jaws, and face.  Your smile is one of the first things that everyone notices, and your teeth are required to chew and enjoy your food.  But unfortunately, you may be at a point in your life where you have lost multiple teeth or have many teeth are too unhealthy to remain in your mouth.

Today, dental implants are a proven technique to restore the esthetics and function of your natural teeth and avoid these inevitable oral health problems.  Traditionally, multiple implants, extensive bone grafting and long healing times were necessary to place implants. Using a solution called the Pro Arch Technique, we can restore an entire arch of beautiful teeth with a single fixed prosthesis.

Many patients prefer the Pro Arch Procedure because of its reliable dental implant base. Unlike other denture options, which can be uncomfortable and move around, the Pro Arch Procedure utilizes dental implants which firmly secure the teeth in the mouth. And because the implants replace missing tooth roots in the jaw, patients can maintain the overall health of their jaw bone over time.

At Permian Basin Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center we want to provide you with the most efficient and cost-effective treatment that will provide you with the best overall result. In certain situations, the dental implants can be placed at the same time the teeth are removed. This allows our patients to receive their full arch of beautiful new teeth more quickly so that they can chew, speak and smile with confidence.

To prepare for your Pro Arch procedure, we will perform a thorough consultation, a 3D scan of your jaws, and take any necessary impressions and photos to create your new set of teeth.   We will explain the process and costs involved and answer any questions you may have. A temporary set of teeth will be attached to your implants during the first procedure. You may have some mild discomfort, which can be treated with oral pain medication, and you will need to eat softer foods during the healing period.  Approximately four to six months after the procedure, when the implants have integrated, you will receive your final set of beautiful new teeth.

While no procedure can restore teeth to the exact strength and appearance of your original teeth, the Pro Arch Technique can get you eating, and smiling again quickly and affordably.
